  • Most people wouldn't think about walking 200 miles in 10 days, and even less would do it while keeping a football in the air. Fortunately for UNICEF, football freestyler, Dan Magness did just that and broke a world record whilst doing it.

Dan journeyed from London to Manchester as part of Keep It Up for Soccer Aid. He did an estimated half a million football keepy uppies along the route and walked a total of 203 miles.

He started the challenge on 1 May at Wembley Stadium and finished on 11 May at Old Trafford. What an achievement!

Want to see if Dan passed through your area or how far he went each day? Check out our Twitter map to see how Dan coped with walking almost a marathon every day while keeping a football in the air.

    Show your support

Even though Dan's finished his challenge, you can still show your support for Dan and help save and change children's lives. You can donate to UNICEF through Dan's fundraising page and help him reach his target of £2,500.

Feeling inspired by Dan? You don't have to break a world record to get involved in Keep It Up. You can keep up anything, from a football to a good habit - the only limit is your imagination.

Have a look at our fundraising ideas and then get yourself registered. All your hard work will help to save and change children's lives around the world.
